Welcome to Nearly New Bikes! We Refurbish & Restore Vintage Road Bikes and Classic Cruisers.
We’re limited to the space we have, so the inventory cycles through itself regularly.
We bring in recycled bikes and thoroughly tune and replace anything necessary to put the bike back into its original riding condition. We then warrantee the bikes for 60 Days, so for 2 months we cover any mechanical malfunction due to your everyday riding – that even includes flats!
We prefer to carry all major reputable brands; as in bikes that were built well and built to last. We steer clear of department store brands and mountain bikes. We unfortunately don’t see to many Hybrid bikes, as they tend to be a little newer and more expensive. However, occasionally you can find one in there.
We see our prices typically ranging from $175 – 225 this season. The prices really are dictated by the cost we have to acquire them, then what we need to do to refurbish them.
Tune Ups, they’re $55 dollars here
They cover the overview of the entire bike. It includes cables, brake pads, wheel truing, and greasing where necessary. We make sure your bike should run back to 100% – If something needs to be replaced or updated, we just let you know so you can let us know.
Because our shop is small, and space is limited – we like to make time early in the week for tune ups, this way we can aim to get your bike back to you within a 48hr period. Weekends tend to be very busy with foot traffic so early weekdays make scheduling easier!
Vintage Road bike restoration work is a passion. It’s a classic artwork in itself from the archives of incredible craftsmanship and flawless design. Bikes we’re designed to ridden with passion and enjoyment. The bike you bought decades ago, or your father’s bike hanging in the garage, or an incredible “barn find” is what makes our job a passion. Many instances people have the impression the bike “is too old to fix” or “too cost effective to enjoy again”.
We’re here to take a look at it. Take a look here to see a few we’ve spent some time with.
Original archives reveal the intended setup of the your vintage bike, from the components which would have been added that day of delivery to the seat chosen by the rider. There are era specific parts, and accurate aesthetics that cannot be found within the new bike shop walls today. We have great enjoyment of reintroducing these mechanical avant gardes, so please don’t hesitate to allow Nearly New Bikes to show you.
